“House of Wolves, Comet: Plague of Darkness” From Destiny

A photo did the rounds that was supposedly taken during an in house developer’s conference, which showed off a big screen of future DLC releases. These included “House of Wolves”, “Comet: Plague of Darkness,” and a host of other details.

It’s believed that Destiny will got a major update every couple of years to keep things fresh, and keep up with the exponential growth in hardware capabilities, and between the major releases will be regular batches of DLC content.

Unfortunately the details published by the gaming press about the alleged leak might not be accurate, and the image itself might not even be real.Eric Osborne who is Bungie’s Community and Marketing Relations Manager, has addressed the “leak” on Twitter.

He posted a funny meme that had edited a scene from the movie Memento to include the image in question. The caption reads “don’t believe this slide.”

Of course the ambiguous nature of the Tweet still leaves fans confused about what’s in store for Destiny DLC. If it’s a genuine leak then Bungie obviously don’t want people to know about it yet and may be looking to throw them off the scent. It’s also possible that the meeting was more of a brainstorming or early concept session, and not set in stone, meaning reporting the details as fact could be misleading. The third option is that Osborne is just messing around with his Twitter follows, though as the marketing relations manager that might be a bit irresponsible.
